[Note at top]: Perhaps the ironing might mount up too high.

Box 12-610 TO MRS. MARY BAKER MCQUESTEN from her daughter, Hilda McQuesten
May 12 1910 Wednesday Afternoon [approximate date]
To: Mary Baker McQuesten [Whitehern, Hamilton, Ontario]
From: Gravenhurst

My dearest Mother,

Have just found out about the washing. A Mrs. Stouchouse will do the washing and ironing for 35 cents a day. A nice respectable woman. As the washings will not be large up here and things stay cleaner for longer, I would suggest that we get the ironing done! She will not be able to start till next week as she will be out of town till Sat. night! Ruby keeps well, and we are all well & happy. Wish you were all up, it is so restful here however you might find it dull. With much love.

H.B McQuesten [Hilda]

[P.S] the electric light is ninety cents a month flat-rates you can burn it day & night.
