[Postmark, Hamilton]

Box 12-753 TO REV. CALVIN MCQUESTEN from Marie Laird
Feb 23 1923 Thursday [approximate date]
To: Rev. Calvin McQuesten 41 Jackson W. Hamilton, Ontario
From:

Dear Mr. McQuesten,

I hope the remark I made this afternoon in front of Mr. Galbraith does not embarrass you when you visit him. I was interested in the subject, but just the same it was not pardonable to be unconscious of his presence to that extent.

Will you let me read the article sometime? I would like to, for I know very little about the Mormon people or the Mormon problem. Their religion as a religion did not promise to be helpful and I neglected its importance as a racial fact.

Sincerely,

Marie Laird
