Box 12-812 TO DR. CALVIN BROOKS MCQUESTEN forwarded by Dr. Cummings

To: Dr. Calvin Brooks McQuesten, Hamilton, Ontario
From: Millersville, [Pennsylvania, U.S.A.]

Dr. Cummings
Dear Sir,

Do you remember I met you at the Ashland House the night of the 8th instant and Mrs. Carter introduced me to you. To be brief I will state at once my object to write you. I would like to have some gentleman to enter into copartnership with me who is throughly conversant with the Science of Surgery; one has had some experience in the Science. You requested me that you have been connected with the Dewitt Dispensary for a number of years and you also told me you were an unmarried man. I practice in a country village and have a lucrative practice. I purpose abandoning the treatment of all acute diseases and pay special attention to chronic diseases of which I have considerable practice. I intend coming out in a public card in some of the papers. If you feel like entering into partnership with me and do the same; and you make Surgical diseases a specialty we can make plenty of money.

Yours Respectfully,

[J. McNess, M.D.]

P.S. An early reply will be thankfully received.
Address: Millersville, Pa.
