 Box 14-088 TO THE REGISTRAR OF DESIGNS, DEPARTMENT OF TRADE AND COMMERCEJul 3 1925 To: Ottawa Ontario From: Calvin McQuesten, Whitehern Hamilton Ontario TO THE REGISTRAR OF DESIGNSDEPARTMENT OF TRADE AND COMMERCE OTTAWAI, Calvin McQuesten, of the City of Hamilton, in the Country of Wentworth, in the Province of Ontario, Canada, hereby request you to register in my name an Industrial Design of a Combination Life Preserver and Garment,1 of which I am the proprietor on account of having been the first to make use of the same. I hereby declare that the said Industrial Design was not in use to my knowledge by any other person than myself at the time of my adoption thereof. The said Industrial Design is formed with a vertically ribbed jacket body I having a nook opening 2 tapering downward toward the divided opening 3 of the garment and with oval shaped arm opening 4.
WHAT I CLAIM IS: Signed at Toronto this 3rd day of July 1925. In the presence of the two undersigned witness.
