To: Whitehern, McQuesten Family Hamilton, Ontario
From: MacNab St. Presbyterian Church Hamilton, Ontario

AT A MEETING OF THE
BOARD OF MANAGERS
OF THE
MACNAB STREET PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

held on Tuesday Evening the 13th of March 1888, the following resolution was unanimously passed.

RESOLVED

That the Board express their deep feeling of regret at the death of

MR. ISAAC B. MCQUESTEN

who was taken suddenly from our midst after serving for fourteen years as a member of the Board.

His death creates a blank in the Church it will be hard to fill as he was always an active and liberal worker not only in matters which more nearly affected the interests of MacNab St. Church, but also in the different schemes for the spread of the Gospel everywhere.

They also beg to tender their heartfelt sympathy to his widow and Children in their sad bereavement and that the same be recorded in our minutes and a copy engraved and sent to Mrs. McQuesten.

[Signed] [Alex Quinn?] Chairman
Angus Sutherland Secretary

1 The resolution is engraved and edged in black with many flourishes.
