[Letter and envelope are edged in Black]

W-MCP1-3b.025 TO REV. CALVIN MCQUESTEN from Mrs. Logie Macdonnell
Mar 10 1916 [approximate date]1
To: Rev. Calvin McQuesten Buckingham, Quebec
From: 331 Barrie Street Kingston, Ontario

Dear Sir,

My sister, Mrs. Cornett, has authorized me to write and ask if you would be so very kind as to ship me Mr. Cornett's type-writer. She says it is packed in a box by itself and labelled so that it can easily be found, and I thought you might have the express company call for it and send it to me C.O.D. at the address heading this letter. I am sorry to trouble you, but the machine will be of great service to me just now, so I ask you to do me this favour relying upon the good fellowship that exists between ministers and ministers' wives. Thanking you in anticipation I remain,

Sincerely yours,

Ursilla N. Macdonnell

(Mrs. Logie Macdonnell)

1 Dated 1915, but it is likely 1916, since envelope is postmarked 1916 and letter and envelope match for stationery and handwriting and are both edged in black.
