RE MACALLUM

Dear Callie:

I spoke to our Pipe Major to-day about your piper Macallum, and he can make a place for him if he has a good present knowledge or the makings of a good piper. Would you have Macallum communicate with him? His address is Pipe Major, A..T. Pollock, 12 Keith Street, Hamilton. Have him state in his letter the name of his teacher, how long he has been practicing and name some tunes he can play. We will be going to Camp about 1st June and would like him to come on if things are satisfactory about that time.

I hope you got home safely and that you have had a little enjoyment at the fishing to which you were looking forward. I have quite recovered from the overwhelming events of Monday night and my head is again normal. The recollection however, still lives. With kind regards,

Yours sincerely,

Jas. Chisholm
