My dear Calvin,

I am sorry that your letter of the 8th was not answered before I left for the West. I found it waiting on my return from Gen. Assembly.

I am sorry that for the present I shall not be able to go to Hamilton. I shall be here until June 30th arrive in Toronto July 2nd and go at once to Whitby Conference the same evening. Shall try in the fall to do something to meet your request. Bert went west to the east today.
