W-MCP2-3b.067 TO [REV.] CALVIN MCQUESTEN from George Hazen Mar 17 1896 To: Calvin McQuesten University College, Queen's Park, Toronto, Ontario From: Strathroy, OntarioMy dear McQuesten
The Platform of the Students' Party in the coming elections at University College Lit. Soc. is before me. I have not had the opportunity of seeing the University Party's Platform-hence possibly I am not in a proper position to judge but I must say I am glad to see your name subscribed to the clauses forming the basis of the Platform of the Students' Party. As an ex student of Toronto University--registered at Victoria--I want to express my delight with clauses 1,4 & 8. As you so well remember Clause 1 & 8 are the principles which I heartily stood for in all discussions last year and I think are still held by most of Victoria Students who have considered the matter. I wish the Students' Party success. Will be glad to hear from you--kindest regards to [Eager?]. Are you still at Robertsons--if so kindest regards to them.
Yours
Geo. T. Hazen
