Yours of the 4th inst. has been rec'd we have this day ship'd you by Msrs. Hooker Henderson & Co.188 Pig 10000 lbs. of Freeman Tons Pig Iron to your depot at Hamilton the arrangement is for you to enter & pay the duty at Hamilton [?] $3--per ton & Lake insurance to be added.
You will please enclose us your note for $200--pay to the order of Msrs. Backus Ferguson & Co. & endorsed by them payable at either of the Rochester Banks--as you prefer. We shall now be able to furnish your order on rec't of them. The terms however will be 3 months here after.
