J.B. McQuestion[sic] Esq. K.C. Royal Botanical Gardens
Hamilton Ontario
Dear Sir:

I have been advised that there is to be a course to train Park Superintendents formed sometime in the near future.

I would possibly be interested in such a course, providing I could qualify after learning all the particulars.

I am just being discharged from the service and plan to make Horticulture and Park work my life occupation. I am 26 years of age, married, having [a] family. I graduated from the Gardeners Class O.A.C. in 1939 and served my apprenticeship at Pinafore Park St.Thomas prior to my enlistment. I can furnish references from the Park and local sources or the Agricultural College if necessary.

I am keenly interested in Horticulture and Park work in general. I hope you will give this letter your consideration, and forward me some further information regarding my inquiry.

Sincerely,
Marshall Fickle
