Dear Tom:

I have been away from the office for about a week and therefore, did not acknowledge your letter before this of the 26th. Kaumeyer mentioned the insulation of the stack and I think the best way of doing it would be to use cork upon which we could plaster and also face with the tile. I am taking this up with Brennan and, as you suggest, will have to arrange to get the work done as soon as possible.
