Dear Mr. McQuesten:

I have received your letter of March 31st enclosing letter from Mel Smith. I was very sorry to learn that he had another attack of paralysis but trust it has not been too severe to keep him from moving around and engaging in his usual everyday routine. I will be happy to reserve the rooms in the Tower for him. I return herewith his letter.1 I took his address and scribbled a line to him today.

Faithfully Yours,

C. Ellison Kaumeyer
