Maxim T. Gray, O.L.S.
General Manager
Niagara Falls, Canada
November 10, 1943.

Dear Mr. McQuesten:

I am enclosing herewith copy of the article which will be going in to Architects' Review under your name.1 I re-wrote Ronald Way's story, in part, deleting some of it, and I think it now makes a very satisfactory article.

I am, today, sending it along to Prof. Arthur2, together with numerous photographs, from which we can make a selection.

Very Truly Yours,
General Manager.

T.B McQuesten Esquire
41 Jackson Street West,
Hamilton, Ontario.

1 The article is W-MCP7-1.154, "Niagara Parks Commission Annual Report: The Work of the Niagara Parks Commission," dated by reference to this letter as Nov. 10, 1943. It is not known if the article was published. Romald Way's name does not appear in the article and it may have been deleted in the "re-writing" as the letter suggests.

2 Likely Eric Arthur, a professor of architecture at the University of Toronto. Tom's brother Calvin wrote to Dr. Arthur in 1958 for his comments on Whitehern, in the hopes that this would convince the Hamilton Parks Board to take over the care of the house after the last remaining McQuesten had passed away. See Box 04-111 for information about both Dr. Arthur and Calvin's suit.
