Meyers ..............................35.00 ...............................1.20 ...............................23.80 [Totals:] ..............................$485.00 ............................134.95 .............................350.05 Extract from Parks Board Meeting- January 22nd, 1945 Mr.McQuesten brought up the matter of engaging Mr. Mathew Broman as Superintendent of the Royal Botanical Gardens at the salary of $3000. to be paid by the Royal Botanical Gardens and that Superintendent Marshall to be paid for the year 1945 the sum of $640.00 for his services as assistant to the Superintendent of the Royal Botanical Gardens, to be paid by the Royal Botanical Gardens. It was further decided to pay assistant Foremen C. Marshall and J Buttenham $200.00 each for services to the Royal Botanical Gardens and to Charles N. Stewart $150.00 as Secretary of the Royal Botanical Gardens for the year 1945, E.R.C. Bower the sum of $150.00 as Treasurer of the Royal Botanical Gardens and Miss Reba Meyers the sum of $100.00 as Clerk. These increases are to be retroactive and start from January 1st, 1945. Extract from Royal Botanical Gardens Meeting- December 5th 1945 On motion of Messrs. Manson and Walters the following staff were re-appointed for the ensuing year: - Secretary- C.N.
