W0038 TO DR. CALVIN MCQUESTEN AND FAMILY from Rev. D. H. Fletcher
Jun 1 1875 [approximate date]1 Wednesday Morning
To: Dr. Calvin McQuesten Hamilton, Ontario
From: Hamilton, Ontario

My Dear Doctor,

I leave this morning for Ridgeway where I have to discharge some duties imposed on me by the Presbytery. I shall not be able to return till tomorrow.

I hope you will find it convenient to be present at the prayer meeting this evening.

I was so busy yesterday that I did not find time to call in and see you. I will call in if spared to return.

Yours very truly

D. H. Fletcher.

1 This date is an estimate determined by the fact that Rev. Donald Hugh Fletcher became the minister at MacNab Street Presbyterian Church in 1872. In 1875 Dr. Calvin McQuesten was seventy-four years of age and was still relatively healthy and capable of attending a prayer meeting. Dr. Calvin died in 1885.
