W0083 TO [DR.] CALVIN MCQUESTEN from G. McQuesten Aug 16 1830 To: Dr. Calvin McQuesten From: Calvin Mc----
I called on Doct. Mowe
today, he informs me he shall give up business activity, that he cannot side any longer, wishes me to inform you says many with whom he has conversed wish him to get you back, he says about 30 different persons in the outskirts of his practice have made this request. Says he has no doubts of your success. You know his terms, and you will act as your judgment shall dictate, the situation of things here you also knew.
I think you would do as well as you thought when hear and better. Still I shall not urge you to return unless you think it altogether for your own advantage. I have had some conversation with [page torn] persons since you left. They express a favourable opinion of your skill and judgement. Hope you will be able to decide in such a manner as shall be for your good. Plan to accept my best wishes for prosperity & happiness.
G. McQuesten.
