 W0143a EXCERPTS FROM MARY'S WILL: LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF MARY BAKER MCQUESTEN Oct 10 1934 To: From: I ALSO DESIRE [sic] to mention with loving thankfulness my appreciation of my children's1 loyalty, unselfishness and self denial as evinced in their loving service to myself and to each other without which under the Divine Blessing the Homestead could not have been maintained.
I ALSO DESIRE [sic] to record my deep sense of gratitude to Mr. James Chisholm,2 who has ever been my kind and valued friend and wise counsellor, and whom I can never repay for all his thoughtful care and unwearying assistance in the management of my affairs, but can only commend him to the faithful regard and loving esteem of my sons and daughters.
