Dr. Sir,

[??] recommendation as much that I shall not be able to return to Hamilton at present and I thought I would drop you a line to acquaint you of the fact and also My Bill. Should it however vary a trifle from yours, you will please correct it, and save the expense by having the Business come by Lakeport NY. Fact is I took no wages when I left and I took cold which upset Mr. B. Hand.
