Below I send you a memorandum of the charges I have against yourself & Mr. Fisher in the matters mentioned and will be obliged if you can let me have 1 check [sic] for the amount overdue this month-

1839 July 6, Costs of suit Commercial Back v. Davidson = 5.9.11
July 21, Layer [sic] costs in suit McQuesten v. Davidson = 121.14.8
July 21, Further costs in the law suit as between solicitor and client = 7.11.0
Oct. 15, To subsequent costs as taxed in the lawsuit = 17.0.9
Oct. 15, Retainer paid to Mr. [?] in [?] re [?] = 5.0.0
