A TITLE PAGE: MR. CALVIN MCQUESTEN, and 9 pages of geometrical drawings and calculations of the astronomical event of a solar eclipse. Other names listed on the sketches are, Jacob Batchelder, John Sparling, Cunningham and Gentle.
These are a series of drawings or geometrical designs made with a protractor set which appear to be connected with a solar eclipse. These drawings have not been digitized as images on this site. Calvin McQuesten was a student at Bradford Academy during 1825 and 1826. The "Solar Eclipse Calendar." December 8, 2003, states: "Last calendar year where there were two Annular-Total Solar Eclipses was in 1825.
