Dear sir,

I have the honour to inform you that you were appointed last evening by the Board of Managers of the North Eastern Dispensary as attending physician to that institution, and assigned to the class of Heart and Lungs. Your days for attendance will be Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at two o'clock P.M. In making this appointment the Managers expect you to be always punctual and zealous in the discharge of your duties, and should you fail in this your place will be declared vacant and another appointment in your stead.
