Dear Doctor:

Your very welcome Telegram reached us about 4.30 yesterday and you may believe that had I been able I would have stood on my head.

Mr. Hill the [?] for the World was in this A.M. and says the Manager think a movement can be made and would like us to write him stating the case fully. This I have done writing him a letter of five p. and Mr. H. is to call and look it over this Evening. We had a $75000.00 fire here last night which cleaned out almost the entire stock block opposite Steinback's store. I said you are extra giving & will particularly, please show it to Mother.
