Though far in scenes of distant joy
You sore1 with footsteps free
Soft to your heart this simple shair2 [sic]
Shall say remember me.

May sweet contentments gentle power descend
And oer [sic] thy heart its peaceful reign extend
May ally [sic]your days most happy be
And when far distant sometimes think of me.

Accept this as a token of love from [??].
