Re Harvey McQuesten MD

As instructed by your telegram of yesterday's date we executed for you the agreement to settle the difficulties between you & this estates & the private estates. It is all closed now with the exception of the signature of Dr. Findlay one of Harvey's1 assignees Mr. Davidson will at once proceed to declare a dividend of probably 25%.2

Will you have yours sent by draft on New York?

1 John Harvey was the business partner of Calvin Brooks' brother, Isaac McQuesten. They were partners in a wool and cotton mill in Hespeler Ontario which went bankrupt around 1887. See W2652 for more on the mill and Isaac's business.
