At meetings of the board of Directors held Thursday, February 19th, WALTER DAMROSCH was unanimously elected conductor of the oratorio society, to succeed his father, the late

DR. LEOPOLD DAMROSCH

The third and fourth concerts of the season, will be given at dates to be hereafter announced. The alteration from those previously advertised being necessitated by the absence of the conductor and orchestra in West.
