TWENTY-THIRD ANNUAL DINNER
Of the DARTMOUTH COLLEGE
Association
Of New York,
1887.
---------
DEAR SIR:
The members of the Dartmouth College Association of New York will meet for their Twenty-third annual Dinner, at Delmonice's Fifth Avenue and Twenty-Sixth Street, on Friday evening, January 28th, at 6 o'clock; business meeting at 5 o'clock.
You are cordially invited to attend, and the Secretary begs that you will take the trouble to reply to this invitation at once, stating whether or not you intend to be present, as it is particularly important that the committee of Arrangements should be informed at the earliest possible moment as to the probable number of guests. Your reply may be sent to the Treasurer.
The Association is subject to considerable expense, not covered by the price of the dinner, for music, printing, postage, etc, and all members are respectfully requested to note the following resolution, passed at the last meeting of the Board of Officers of the Association, held December 16, 1886:
"Resolved, that the executive board of the Dartmouth association of New York, Earnestly appeals to all the members of the Assocaitions (whether or not they intend to be present at the Dinner) to show their interest in its welfare by forwarding the Annual Dues of one Dollar ($1.00) each to Mr. Henry L. Smith, Treasurer of the Association, 745 Broadway, N.Y."
Parties wishing to become members of the Association will also apply to the treasurer, remitting dues as above.
Tickets for the Dinner may be obtained (and, if possible, should be obtained prior to the date of the Dinner) of the Treasurer, at $5.00 each.
In corresponding with the Treasurer or Secretary, please state your class. Whenever you change your address notify the Secretary.
