My Dear Ike,
How is you? How is the wife? And little ones eh! Well I hope. Notwithstanding my youthful appearance and accustomed as I am to public speaking [neverthink ??] I am the Father of Fourteen children Eleven of whom belong to the lovely Mrs. Johnson-How goes the studies this winter-How is Mifs Fisdell I hear you and her are a little soft with each other. You had better look-out how you talk to her or you will be getting into trouble for I took quite a fancy to her when I was up-How is that pretty little girl with the curls I think her name is Mifs [Innus??] give my love to her and all the other pretty girls attention behalf and write and tell what is going on at school and How you and Mifs. Fisdell proper.
