Whereas I William Dunn of the City of Hamilton, County of Wentworth, Province of Ontario, Canada, have invented a certain new and useful invention or improvement in machines for setting the teeth of saws, called the "Acme Saw Set," for which I am about to make application for letters patent of the United States, and whereas Isaac Baldwin McQuesten of the city of Hamilton County of Wentworth, Province of Ontario, Canada is desirous of acquiring an interest in said invention and in the letters patent to be obtained thereafter.

Now, therefore, to all whom it may concern, be it known, that for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar, to me in hand paid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged. I the said William Dunn have sold, assigned, transferred, and set over and by these presents do sell, assign, transfer and set over unto the said Isaac Baldwin McQuesten the full and exclusive right to the said invention, as fully set forth and described in the specification prepared and executed by me preparatory to obtaining letters patent of the United States therefore, and I do hereby authorize and request the Commissioner of Patents to issue, the said letters patent to the said Isaac Baldwin McQuesten, as the assignee of my entire right, title and interest in and to the same, for the sole use and behoof of the said Isaac Baldwin McQuesten and his legal representatives.

In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal, this nineteenth day of November, A.D. 1878.
