Received for record October 24, 1882 and recorded in to W-28, page 57, of Transfers of Patents.

In testimony whereof I have caused the seal of the Patent Office to be hereunto affixed.

Wilhelm and Bonner, Patent Attorneys, Buffalo, N.Y.

Whereas, I, William Dunn of the City of Buffalo in the County of Erie and State of New York have invented certain new and useful improvements in Feed Water Heaters for Steam Boilers for which I made application for Letters Patent of the United States; Serial No. 72.863

And Whereas, Isaac Baldwin McQuesten of Hamilton, in the Province of Ontario, Canada is desirous of acquiring my interest in the said invention, and in any Letters Patent that may be granted therefor:

Now this Indenture Witnesseth, That for the sum of one dollar, and other valuable consideration to me in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, I have assigned, sold and set over, and do hereby assign, sell and set over, unto the said Isaac Baldwin McQuesten the full and exclusive right to all the improvements made by me as fully set forth and described in the specification which I have prepared and executed preparatory to obtaining Letters Patent therefor.

And I do hereby authorize and request the Commissioner of Patents to issue the said letters Patent to the said Isaac Baldwin McQuesten as the assignee of my whole right and title thereto.

And I do further agree to sign and properly execute such necessary and lawful papers for obtaining any reissue, or reissues of any Letters Patent that may be granted for my aforesaid invention, as the assignee thereof shall hereafter require and prepare at his own expense.

In Testimony Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal, this 21st day of October 1882.
