Sir,
I am obliged by your favor of the 3rd Sept which I received on Saturday evening, and try to say that I could to Recd in future of the Commercial Bank Mr [??] which I now occupy in Brantford at M yearly not of 20 pounds currency to be fair half yearly, in the 14 may and 14 Nov in each year for of our taxes- Six months nature being giving and resource by London once month.
Kindly remind me, his, to remind you for the above and duties in ensure my sent above 6 exams per annum, and has too, I suppose you, when times are not as well with you in key have been. I [?] his will in owes you to permit me to remain you toward a 20 pound annum the Bank, us before, paying the taxes. I do not object to paying half yearly, so if not you win be you readily attend to my request to do necefsary [sic] explain and funding next spring.
