I have rec'd your letter of 15th Instead containing F. Miller receipt for 20 pounds paid by you to him as part for one year. This I now return you as Mr. Miller holds no authority to receive payments or grant acquittal on account of this Baull, and in the present instance has not transmitted the money or advised of his having received it.
