Today it is the wish of every member of our family that you do us a dearly loved and respected friend of our late honourable husband father should perform the funeral services in such way and manner as you shall choose filling and proper.

May we hope for so much for your generous Christian kindnefs [sic]!

It has been definitely found to have the funeral take place on Monday next at one [O'clock??] of course at and from the late residence of our fine father.

Mrs. Baker will [certainly??] have informed you how peacefully and gently our dear father fell a sleep [sic] in Christ [Our??] Saviour so gently induced that for a time to induce a suspicion that it was sleep rather than death.
