Dear Miss Smith,
Yours of the 28th, containing $110, I received this morning, and I enclose you a receipt for the same, please send me at your earliest convenience the money.
As you do not wish me to endorse the sums paid or the deed, be so kind when you said me the remaining $111 to state or you would send me to put on it so that it may be legally yours.
With my kind regards to you, and your family.
