Smith [??] sum of [?] to Thomas Baker of [????] and now sold by him to a Miss Smith the remaining $110.00 to be paid in about a month, when the deed is to be handed to her.

Received from Miss Leonora R. Smith the sum of fifty dollars, being part of the purchase money for a mortgage given by R.F. Smith Esq. Newmarket June 17, 1867, to Thomas Baker of the same village, and sold by him to the aforesaid Miss Smith July 30, 1870 for two hundred and twenty one dollars, $110.00 having been paid on the 30 of July and $50.00 at the present time, the remaining $91.00 to be "paid in a short time," when the deed is to be transferred to her.
