Dear Sir,

I wish to ask you kindly to answer me here questions which I trust you will do in confidence. 1st did your Grandfather come to Paris yesterday then by train. 2nd where did Mrs. Baker say she was going where she left yesterday. 3rd when did she get home. I suspect Baker yesterday and has some corners in and there is a report current respecting her that I wish to clear up if I can and the answering of these questions will very my leave by assist me in doing so but request this is confidential and you will consider me a friend to you as will as by her and if so have been was informed. I shall be most happy yet to credit did apart please answer as soon as convenient do tell anyone see this.
