Dear Grandpa,
Rev [??] was writing to you I expect I would send you few lines. I was very sorry to cause you so much trouble about my lessons, hope I will never have occasion to trouble you a pair I like so be our he is with my brother and cousin, aunt is very kind to me and I like for me life very much but it will be much more pleasant in the [???]. I am not going to school out here, but I shall try to improve myself as I can, I was promoted into Mr. Anderson room, and I bought my last [??] sent you last week but I have not seen her since her train but [??] now her in Paris last week all said that she had received a bony little from Maud, I have had a very bad old and tooth ache, knew and I went to church on Sundays, [??] and I was demanded the carnial last rations we enjoy very much. The small pox are very bad in Brantford there are two cases a bout [sic] three miles from here. [Uncles??] children are going to be vaccinated. Friday had small party on her birthday as had seventeen all so gathering with kind love so,
