W3315 TO REV. THOMAS BAKER from his associate John Puckridge.
Jun 17 1879
To: Thomas Baker.
From: John Puckridge, Brantford, Ontario.

Brantford Township Ont.
June 17th 1879

Dear Sir,

Your favor of 10th inst.containing $10.00 P. Order I beg to acknowledge and to take you Mrs. P. thinks it will be quite sufficient for the clothing Willie now requires. She has not as yet obtained and made up the whole turning to ill health otherwise during accruing to promise have rendered an account of the disposal of the same.

Should not alteration occur in our School arrangement here after the vacation, or at any rate before next New Year I think it would be advisable to send Willie and my eldest son (as soon as we can be spared from Farm work) to the school about a mile distance which is now conducted by a male teacher who I understand is giving satisfaction to parents generally.

Hoping that Mrs. Baker's health is much better, and that you may yet be spared to enjoy the society of the younger branches in health & place & thanking you for your kind consideration. I remain with our united kindest regards. Respectfully yours-
J. Puckridge.

P.S. I understand Alice has gone to visit Aunt Minnie during the vacation we shall probably be harvesting and I shall endeavor to find some employment therein for all the lads.
