Thomas Hampson Baker, the son of Thomas and Sarah [Hampson] Baker was born Sunday, December 2, 1821, and publickly [sic] baptised Sunday, March 31, 1822 by Rev'd John Griffin, at King St. Chapel.1


1 Rev. Thomas Baker recorded the birth and baptism of each of his 8 children by his first wife, Sarah Hampson Baker: W4213; W4214, W4215, W4216, W4217, W4218, W4218a, W4219.
Rev. Baker also had a 9th child, Mary Jane Baker by his second wife Mary-Jane McIlwaine: [b. Oct. 10, 1849; d. Dec. 7, 1934; m. Isaac McQuesten, June 18, 1873].
