Martha Elizabeth Baker the daughter of Thomas Baker and Sarah his wife, was born June 5th & publickly [sic] baptised at King Street Chapel by the Rev'd John Griffin August 15th 1830.1


1 Rev. Thomas Baker recorded the births and baptisms of his eight children by Sarah Hampson: W4213, W4214, W4215, W4216, W4217, W4218, W4218a, W4219. Rev. Baker also had a ninth child by his second wife, Mary-Jane McIlwaine: Mary Jane Baker [McQuesten] b. October 10, 1849, in Brantford, Ont.
