W4269 TO MARY BALDWIN MCQUESTEN from her sister Ruby Baker McQuesten
Jan 5 1901 [date estimated] 1
To: Mary Baldwin McQuesten Whitehern, Hamilton, Ontario
From: Ottawa Ladies' College

My dearest Mary,

That is just the dinkiest little bow you sent me. I don't think I've ever seen such a pretty one--so fresh & crisp & so prettily worked.

Thank you very, very much--I'm just looking forward to making it.

You must just be thankful that Xmas sewing and Mission band Sale are things of the past, I'm quite sure your belt line doesn't trouble you, but you must rest now & get fat & eat all you can even if you nibble the Xmas cake on the Tuesday.

Thank you again, very very much,

With much love,

Ruby

For Mary. [This last was written upside down on last page. This note was possibly enclosed with another letter]

1 We have estimated the place and the date as after Christmas in the first year that Ruby was at the Ottawa Ladies' College.
