Dear Mamma

I received your letter on Thursday evening and was sorry to hear about Ruby's eyes were so bad, but hope they will be better soon. The flag pole will cost quite a sum to get mended and at this time too I will write again soon, hush ups to-morrow when I have more time and tell you all the engagements I have, I must now say good-bye. Your loving daughter,
