W4385 TO MARY BAKER MCQUESTEN from Jas Chisholm. Dec 31 1891 To: Mary Baker McQuesten. From: Jas Chisholm Thursday Ev'g 31 Dec 1891
Dear Mrs. McQuesten
I received your very welcome gift an hour or so ago and feel inexpressibly pleased to have it, you could not have chosen a gift which I would appreciate more and the excellence of the photograph itself enhances the pleasure it gives me.
You must not do me the injustice of thinking that your knid [sic] remembrance of me has suggested the accompanying small gifts to Hilda, Ruby, Tom, Edna for they were lying waiting to be sent at the office when I received your gift. I was so busy at Christmas that it took me by surprise came & went almost before I thought of Christmas gifts.
Mary and Callie are growing so old and learned that I was afraid to choose for them but to them and yourself, I send my sincere wishes for a happy new year.
Sincerely yours
Jas Chisholm
