[Another letter (W4744) was enclosed in this letter (W4742)] W4742 TO [REV.] CALVIN MCQUESTEN from his mother, Mary Baker McQuesten Jan 20 1903 Tuesday To: Calvin McQuesten Montreal, Quebec From: 'Whitehern' Dear Cal.
It was very thoughtful of you to take advice of Mr. Skeoch and the plan seemed a good one. Have just received enclosed note from Mr. C. [Chisholm]. What I am not sure about is when to sell. Reading over the account of meeting. I have received the official one from the Gazette (just the same as yours) it seems to me that there is a set time when they will give us these new shares and if I sell out too soon, I will lose my interest. As I understand it it might be six months before my shares are allotted to me and in the meantime I would have lost the interest on the two shares I had sold out. Perhaps Mr. Skeoch could advise. With Much Love.
Your loving Mother
M.B. McQuesten
