W5218 TO [REV.] CALVIN MCQUESTEN from his mother, Mary Baker McQuesten
Jun 1 1904
To: Calvin McQuesten Standoff, Alberta
From: 'Whitehern'

My dearest boy.

We have just come in from the House Mission meeting and I must just write at once and tell you how delighted we were with your letter, it was beautifully written and so bright and pleasant. Mr. Murray and Mr. Cunningham and Mr. Fletcher all spoke about it and there was a great clapping of hands after it was read. You have by no means lost your powers of writing. Just received your letter to-day telling about your new preaching station. It is wonderful to think of your preaching three times & riding 20 miles in a day. You are doing finely indeed. Am very anxious to post this to-night, but it is pouring rain, there is just a chance you may get if posted. With fondest love.

Your mother
