It is quite late, but I must write you a few lines. We received your card and are glad to know you are comfortably placed. Tom has not gone yet he is hoping to Receive a telegram any time in the meantime he has got the place rite the most beautiful order, and it is all so lovely, the lilacs and roses are perfectly beautiful. We have just come in from preparatory service, Mr. Wilson preached, and I was very much pleased it was such an earnest good address. John MacDougal's baby was baptized, Allister Hillhouse Brown McDougal. Think of that for a name! Last night Tom and I called up at Mrs. Fletcher's and this morning went up to the Cemetery and pruned forsythia.

I am wondering, if you see any newspapers. It was great news, that victory of the Japs, sometimes it seems incredible that Russia, whom we all dreaded has been so beaten by that little people. Mr. Robert Buchanan is getting up a hay rack party for young men of congregation the girls feel much neglected. Well, call I hope to write a longer letter next time but must close to catch post.
