My dear Calvin,

Your letter came shortly after you were with us but I think you write well to remember so much to tell us.

Mama gave me some letters about [??] the quarterly [???]

[This letter is mostly illegible until the last page]

We're having a tea on Tuesday for Miss Jane Buchanan. The watch-man at the corner is cutting down our weeds for exercise. We can't quite make him out.

Hilda Fulller is engaged to a Baron's son who has a position in Cuba. Miss Fuller is excited over it. She says she hopes he'll wait a year. Eleanor Malloch is to be married to Mr Calvin this month & Miss Gibson of Beamsville to Mr. Eastwood.

There is no more news except Jack Counsell's engagement to Miss Gibson of London.
Lovingly, Edna
