As to Cook Book. The noted ones are very expensive and useless to most housekeepers. The one Hilda saw at the Gartshores and thought so useful is a very nice looking book, not very large, cost 75 cts., but the title is unfortunate "A little Cook-book for a little girl" with picture of little girl on the front cover, otherwise it is a useful book for a woman. I have got one to give Edna and could send it to you if you say so, and if you do not like it, bring it home for Edna. Otherwise you might just send to the Westminster Co. for one of Ralph Connor's books or Marion Keith's "Duncan Polite" or "The Silver Maple"; the first is the best. $1.25 "The Prospector" is fine, I think, if they have not read it.

We are expecting Ruby tomorrow, she had been troubled a good deal with headache and could get Jean Ross to take her place for a few nights, so is just going to have a longer holiday.
