W5836 TO [REV.] CALVIN MCQUESTEN from his mother, Mary Baker McQuesten May 1 1907 To: Calvin McQuesten [22 Grosvenor Ave, Toronto] From: 'Amisfield' Hamilton My very dear Calvin,
Many, many very happy returns of this day! I wish you could be at home for a regular celebration and jollification. Instead of that poor fellow you are to start on examinations, of all the horrible tortures. However, it is the beginning of the end and we trust you will come bravely through them. Hope the weather will change to cool fresh atmosphere. To-day has been very trying after the cold coming in so very warm. Mrs. Mullin took Mrs. Thomson, Hilda and Edna, and myself for a drive up to the Sanitarium [sic] but it was very windy and warm. I had never seen it, so was glad of the opportunity. Expect to go to Oakville on Friday.
With fondest love and earnest prayer that every blessing may be yours.
Your loving mother
M.B. McQuesten
