This is the last letter I will be writing you before you come home.1
I'm being got ready
for Annie Fletcher's wedding. Mama got me a white China silk when I was away and Hilda is making it.2
I got a letter from Olive to day, she is at Brown's Brae near Norway Point. Brown the family up by the church. They have had a house for the summer as Mrs. Culhain has not been well and required a change and rest. Olive enjoyed the
summer immensely and slept out of doors all but two nights when it rained. Loma is back at her teaching in Hamilton and keeping house for her Grandmother whilst Miss Copp is at their place
in Muskoka for a few week's change. Loma found Muskoka rather tame. Old Mrs. Ogg died at the City Hospital of Cancer and it is very difficult to know what to
do with Mr. Ogg. Just now he is in the Hospital with ulcers on his legs. He has had varicose veins a long time and they say he looks very worn out. We only hope he wont [sic] recover because he doesn't want
to go to the House of Refuge.
Oakville is rather dull without the Culhains but they are to be back the 26th or 27th of this month. We expect to be here till Christmas.
[?] Gartshore was camping with Winnie and the rest at Sparrow Lake. She is
certainly wild but she is very comical. Her Mother doesn't know what to do with her to render her
